Theme: The story aims to reflect on personal transformation. Nature as inspiration for inner strength, and love as a guide for a life of freedom.

Synopsis
A man decides to capture a wild colt as a gift for his daughter, unaware that this magical encounter will change everyone’s lives forever.

SCENE 1 – The Pampas
In the middle of the pampas, a herd of wild colts roams the vastness.
SCENE 2 – Dance of the Colt
After getting separated from the herd, a young colt is left alone, waiting to reunite with its group.
SCENE 3 – The Capture
A group of men, led by their boss, Alfonzo, arrive energetically and capture the colt as a gift for Isabella, Alfonzo’s daughter.
SCENE 4 – The Night, the Woman, and the Moon
Alone and tied up in a stable, the colt is surprised by the presence of Isabella. She approaches, tames him, and a connection is born between them. The colt transforms into Fausto, allowing him to enter the human world.
SCENE 5 – The Men
At the ranch bar, the men gather for a social meeting. Alfonzo enjoys his power until Isabella enters the party with Fausto. Tension rises between the other men and the newcomer.
SCENE 6 – The Duel
Isabella’s fiancé bursts out in jealousy. Amidst dances and music, a duel breaks out where Fausto injures Alfonzo. After the incident, Fausto must flee to save his life.
SCENE 7 – Pain, Love, and Freedom
Back in the pampas, Fausto reconnects with his animal past. He is followed by Isabella, who tries to keep him, but his instincts push him towards his true nature.
SCENE 8 – Isabella is faced with the choice between Faust and her father. In the end, she abandons her humanity and joins the flock, symbolizing freedom.
THE COMPANY
In 2010, they created their own dance company “Los Potros Malambo” where they managed to use all their knowledge and create choreographies based on their vision of traditional and contemporary dance.
In 2016, they created the show “Pulsaciones de la Tierra” which was awarded as best horeographic show and best dance show of that season.
They were invited to participate in the “Dance for Peace” Gala organised by UNICEF Argentina.
In 2016 and 2017 they were hired for the TV programme “Baila Argentina” which was broadcasted all over the country by the Official Public TV where they were in charge of the coaching of the participants of the contest and the copany Los Potros Malambo was in charge of the closing of each round.
In 2018, their new creation “Pura Sangre” was taken on tour abroad, performing in Russia for more than 20 shows. In Doha and in France. In Argentina, the play had 3 months of performances at the Centro Cultural Borges with very good reviews from the press and the general public.
After the Pandemic, they managed to return to the stage with their show in Chile, where they performed for 6 months in 2023.
In 2024, they carry out a new choreographic project “Go’Malambo” with which they go on tour to Russia, Armenia, Georgia and others.
Los Potros Malambo of the Gardela brothers is currently considered one of the most importante companies of Malambo and Argentine folklore.
HISTORY OF THE DANCE COMPANY “LOS POTROS MALAMBO
In 1999, from Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Gardella brothers founded the Dance Company called “LOS POTROS MALAMBO” as a family project, with the idea of giving life to the choreographic creations that they had in their minds.
He worked hard to find his path, always looking for his own style. As he performed in different scenarios, he formed the final project and became part of the most important Malambo and Folklore company in the country.
This group of great artists has a characteristic style where strength and expression, as well as technique and choreographic richness, marvelously combine to create a unique show.
In 2012, they were selected to participate in the American reality show “Q’ Viva: The Chosen”, with Jennifer López, Marc Anthony and Jamie King as judges.
After several performances in Los Ángeles (EE.UU.), the group reached the grand final, being the only South American ensemble that reached so far.
They were also finalists in the Argentine version of the reality show Got Talent, called in the country “Talento Argentino”, and Choreographers of the Television Program “Argentina Baila” broadcast by Televisión Pública.
Los Potros in the cultural sphere stand out for their active participation in television media, cultural programs, shows, festivals, reporting in national newspapers and magazines.
The quality in the art of this group has such magnitud, that in 2017 they formed part of the Spot of 30 years of Greenpeace Argentina under the motto: “¡La Revolución se hace defending lo nuestro!”.

directors BROTHERS GARDELLA
ISAAC GARDELLA – Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer Born in Argentina in 1990 and started his dance studios at a very early age, learning Malambo and Folk Dances with great maestros, with great reference having been his brother Javier.
As he improved technically and artistically, he participated in all national folk festivals, such as Festivales de Cosquin, Torneos Bonaerenses, Danza Americana, among others of renown.
Complying with his vision, he created together with his brother “Los Potros Malambo – Compañía de Danza“, with which he began to venture into choreographic creations of his own design for his dancers and designing the style that today stands out in his art.
In 2014, they took part in the show “Signum”, at the “El Nacional” theater on Avenida Corrientes, alongside Hernán Piquín. Work directed by Sean Mckeown, director of Cirque du Soleil.
After his success, in 2015 he traveled to China and Russia to tour with the Compañía de Tango Mora Godoy, where he played an important role in the show “Bailando Tango”.
So, in 2016 they landed in Qatar. This same summer in the summer season of Mar del Plata, he obtained 2 nominations for the “Estrellas de Mar” Awards as best dance show, and best choreographic show.
JAVIER GARDELLA – Artistic Director, Choreographer and Dancer Born in Argentina in 1979. He started his dance studies at the age of 3 years. Incursionó en la Danza Folclórica, Malambo y Flamenco. At the same time, I learned to play the bass drum and other percussion instruments.
His artistic inclinations were evident from his early years. Together with his family he created the Potro Ballet and then started his career. In 1999 he participated in the “Festival de Cosquín”, the most important national stage for dancers and folk musicians, where he won the first prize in his category and the same year he also won in the “Festival Folclórica de Laborde”.
Left in 2015, together with his brother he formed “Latidos de la Tierra”, a show that won nominations and awards for his dance and choreography.
Meanwhile, in 2016 with the new production “Pura Sangre” – whose show continues until today with excellent criticism – Javier would be invited in the November of the same year to participate as a choreographer and coach in the national reality show “Argentina Baila”.
Javier is, today, one of the great referents and coaches of the Argentine national folklore and artistic dance industry.
