INSTINTO is a captivating musical, which has as its fundamental engine the instinct and strength within each human being that often surpasses the intellect when it comes to relating to the opposite sex.
Passion, Power and Seduction
Instinto is the story of a young man from a neighborhood, senile and cheerful, who quickly discovered his power of seduction, a power that led him to conquer the most sophisticated levels of Argentine society.
A modern story that makes a manifesto, some mechanisms of Western society, clearly consumerist and excited, and exalting values that are being repressed with the advancement of technology and communications.
The soundtrack for Instinto was carefully selected to provide each choreography with the necessary essential elements that the story requires.
For him, composers Luis Corallini, Esteban Gutierrez and Germán Nager, have composed original themes, some romantic ones, others but biceral and primitive, which give strength and personality to the work.
The distinctive clasics of Astor Piazzolla and Carlos Gardel complete the delicate scale of the show.
Love, Ambition and Friendship
Micaela, Juan and Javi are friends who meet daily at Juan’s barber shop in a traditional neighborhood in Buenos Aires. Micaela secretly loves Juan, while Javi loves Micaela, but she doesn’t love him back.
The arrival of Bacan transforms Juan’s life, making him a celebrity and alienating him from the group.
Micaela decides to change her look to win Juan’s heart and rise in society, seducing Javi and other friends in the process.
Her great seduction attracts even Bacan, but when she finally spends a night with Juan, she realizes that her love was just an obsession.
Juan, in turn, misses simplicity and true friendship. In the end, the friends meet again to relive the good times, reaffirm their bond and go their separate ways, leaving behind illusions and fleeting ambitions.
