images of the MÍTICO Tango
The Quintetto I Fiori Blu, with Adrian Aragon and Erica Boaglio, takes the audience on an exciting journey through tango, from Gardel to Piazzolla. From Buenos Aires to Paris, they explore the influences and successes that have marked the history of this musical genre.
A Musical Journey
The live music of the Quintetto I Fiori Blu transports the dancers to Buenos Aires at the beginning of the century, in the smoky and nocturnal atmospheres of the capital and its cafés.
On these notes unfold the encounters of the couples who, in an imaginary journey, arrive at the Old Continent and the alleys of Genoa where the melancholy of the “sad feeling that is danced” is collected by the voice of De Andrè and his stories.
Mitico tango is an unforgettable evening of distant worlds, solitudes that meet and nocturnal emotions.
I FIORI BLU
Directed by
PIETRO SINIGAGLIA
It is a musical project that combines the passion and work of a lifetime that has explored the territory of tango and Italian author music, in the name of Fabrizio De Andrè and his fragile friend, Luigi Tenco.
It all begins with a transversal look that almost by chance tries to combine in a single music the dark, meditative, sensual but never lascivious sounds of tango with the refinement of thought that transforms into common words, of the common mortal, so dear to De Andrè.
It is the meeting of immortality, pursued by the slow pace of the nocturnal milonga, with the mortality of the vanquished sung and then resurrected in the songs of the singer-songwriter, poet.
